Journal of Photonic Materials and Technology

Aims and Scope

The subject area of the Journal of Photonic Materials and Technology (ISSN Online: 2469-8431, ISSN Print: 2469-8423) will be the progress in the studies of advanced photonic materials as well as of engineering and technology of photonic integrated circuits. Such circuits find their primary application in the field of fiber-optic communication; they also look promising for biomedical and photonic computations. The journal shall provide an open access platform for theoretical and experimental peer-reviewed articles, thus contributing to dissemination of the knowledge of phenomena pertaining to physics of light-matter coupling and electromagnetically induced transparency. It will also publish articles devoted to electromagnetic excitations in low-dimensional and non-ideal structures.

The topics related to this journal include but are not limited to:

  • Physics of light-matter coupling in nanostructures
  • Photonics & biophotonics
  • Electromagnetism
  • Optical amplifiers, optical modulators
